Flamingos, with their vibrant pink or reddish plumage and their distinctive ability to balance gracefully on one leg, have always been nature's spectacle, standing out from the ordinary bird species. However, the allure of these captivating creatures reached new heights in 2015 when an exceptionally rare event unfolded - the sighting of a black flamingo in the picturesque landscapes of Cyprus. This occurrence, with odds estimated at one in several million, lent an almost mythical aura to the encounter. Remarkably, only one other person had spotted this breathtaking creature a year prior, contributing to the belief that this may indeed be the only black flamingo in existence.
